Our History — A Salem Institution Since 1975
Founded in 1975 by the original Bob, our establishment has served Salem, Oregon for 50 years as the region's premier adult entertainment destination. Bob pioneered professional, judgment-free service in an industry often misunderstood.
After Bob's passing in 2018, Richard briefly managed operations before Frederick took over in February 2020, navigating the business through challenging COVID years with wisdom and determination.
Following Frederick's death in March 2025, business partner Schuyler assumed leadership, implementing modern marketing while preserving our foundational values.
Today, "Bob" lives on as our brand ambassador — embodying five decades of experience, discretion, and customer satisfaction. From humble beginnings to Salem's largest adult selection, we've evolved while maintaining our core mission: providing quality products and professional service without shame or judgment.

What are your hours?
We're open every day, 11 AM to 11 PM — 365 days a year, including holidays. Same hours every day, so you never have to guess.
Where are you located and is there parking?
We're at 3815 State Street, Salem, Oregon 97301. Free private parking is available in our lot at the rear of the building — no meters, no street parking hassles.
How old do I have to be to enter?
You must be 18 or older. We ID at the door, so please bring valid photo identification.
I've never been to an adult store — what should I expect?
Come in through the main entrance, show your ID if asked, and browse at your own pace. Our staff is knowledgeable and happy to help, but will never pressure you. Take your time — there's no rush, no judgment, and no question is too basic.
Is everything discreet?
Yes. Every purchase leaves our store in plain, discreet packaging, and all transactions appear discreetly on credit card statements. Your business is your business.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.
What's in the showroom?
A full third of our venue is retail. We carry 1,000's of carefully curated products: adult toys, lubricants, lingerie, men's intimate wear, fetish toys and accessories, media, and more — plus sling rentals.
How many theaters do you have, and how much does admission cost?
Three theaters with content rotating daily. Theater admission is $10 for 3 hours, or $15 for our Combo Pass which adds full arcade access. Our 16-booth arcade is $5 per hour on its own.
What is the Dungeon Room?
A private, fully-equipped dungeon room available for $25 per person. Features include a sex sling and St. Andrew's cross. It's a private, consensual space — reserved one group at a time.
What's Tuesday Buddy Night?
Every Tuesday from 4 PM to 11 PM, bring a friend and get 2-for-1 admission on theaters or the Combo Pass. It's our most popular night to introduce someone new to Bob's.
What is Happy Hour?
Every night from 10 PM to 11 PM, our Combo Pass (theaters + arcade) is just $10. A great way to try us out without committing to a full evening.
Do you host special events?
Yes. Our next event is "Unmentionable" on June 13, 2026 — an underwear party with 100% of ticket proceeds benefiting True Colors United. We host events throughout the year; contact us to get on the list for announcements.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, in any amount. Ask any staff member in the showroom.
Can I order online?
Not yet — we're building an online store with discreet shipping. Stay tuned. In the meantime, we'd love to see you in person.

Getting Here
From Portland / I-5 South: Take I-5 South approximately 47 miles. Take exit 256 for Market St / Salem. Head west on Market St, then turn left onto State St. Bob's is on the right side — roughly a 1-hour drive.
From Eugene / I-5 North: Take I-5 North approximately 64 miles. Take exit 253 for OR-22 / Mission St SE. Merge onto Mission St and continue to State St. Turn right — we are just ahead on the left.
Parking: Free private parking lot at the rear of the building.
